Executive Director, GBAPP, Inc
Rev. Nancy Kingwood, the Executive Director of GBAPP, Inc., has served in the area of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care for over 20 years, making a huge impact in the lives of individuals living with the virus. She has also worked with several national organizations as a Capacity Building Specialist providing technical assistance to faith based organizations including the National Black Church Initiative, Washington, DC, and the Metropolitan Inter-denominational Capacity Building Network, Nashville, TN. Rev. Nancy is a Human Service Board Certified Practitioner, and a SAMHSA Train the Trainer on Trauma Informed Systems Approaches.

GBAPP, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, has been serving the Greater Bridgeport community for over 30 years. Our mission is to serve the Greater Bridgeport area through education, collaboration
and intervention by empowering individuals to make informed, healthy decisions.

Minister Jean M. Brown, Broadcast Host, is currently a Team Leader at Greater Bridgeport Area Prevention Program, (GBAPP Inc.), HIV Prevention & Care Department, where she addresses a wide array of health and linkage to medical care issues relating to HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C and other Sexual Transmitted Infections. Min. Brown serves the underserved population in the Greater Bridgeport area where she educates, brings awareness and advocates for people living with HIV/AIDS, addressing their concerns and behavioral risks for contracting Sexually Transmitted Infections, including HIV. She collaborates with community partners to sponsor events, facilitate HIV Prevention Workshops, Healthy Love, and Women’s Empowerment Groups, working with ex-offender women in residential treatment programs.
Min. Brown received her education at Norwalk Community College & Connecticut Business Institute, AS in Business Administration; University of Bridgeport, BS in Psychology with minor in Human Services, and currently enrolled in Master’s Program at University pursuing Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
